Another week over & will be working as normal from Monday with no days of for recovery.

Next week’s work is already quite busy with only a few spaces available, but all depends if the jobs are problem free. I haven’t really been answering my phone over the last week’s due to my recovery, but have answered every call today, but 90% of them have been requests to repair jobs today ( mobile obviously means that I am at a loose end waiting for my next job ). I of course had work booked in.

Today didn’t go quite too plan, having an annual service & Mot as the primary job. So MOT first & it failed on a tyre & brakes, so off for the tyre on way back & there was the morning gone. So quick lunch & attend to brakes, plus service. Unable to get retest done today because had to pick my van up & traffic jams everywhere & that took another 1.5hours, then swap tools back from car to van & retest now first thing tomorrow.. An easier day planned for tomorrow ( hopefully).

Have been washing 2 cars this afternoon. Took 3.5 hours to wash the exterior and valet the interior. One ended up being easier than the other, one had some green mould on the flat surfaces of the paintwork & loads of dog hair’s inside but it all makes it worth it when a customer comes up to me & says ” You washed our red Honda”. Yes I replied ” well you made a wonderful job of it. I don’t think we have had it that clean for a long time, even inside is lovely”. Well there is no answer to that!
